Biometric standardization

This talk will provide an overview of ongoing standardisation efforts in the area of biometrics. Major parts of the ISO SC37 work programme will be covered. Insights to the standardisation process will be provided and the upcoming new work items will be highlighted. The talk will also cover attempts at standardization of non-technical issues such as terminology and societal and ethical issues.
