Prof. Patrick (Pat) J. Flynn

Patrick J. Flynn is Professor of Computer Science and Engineering and Concurrent Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame (Notre Dame, IN, USA). He received the Ph.D. in Computer Science from Michigan State University in 1990, and was a member of the faculty of Washington State University (Pullman, WA, USA) and Ohio State University (Columbus, OH, USA) prior to his position at Notre Dame.

Prof. Flynn's research interests include computer vision, image processing, pattern recognition, and biometrics. His research has been funded by many governmental and industrial organizations, and published in the field's leading journals and conferences. Prof. Flynn is a Senior Member of IEEE.
